The 5th Smile Train Latin American Symposium on Cleft Lip and Palate
The Smile Train will sponsor the Fifth Latin American Symposium on Cleft Lip and Palate on April 7th and 8th, 2006. It will be held in Campinas, Brazil and approximately 300 medical professionals are expected to attend. The theme of this year's Symposium will be: "Ethics and competence: taking care of cleft lip and palate people". A special workshop will be held to discuss problems within the health services sector as they relate to cleft care and their potential solutions.
