Hospital das Clínicas de Porto Alegre
The Smile Train is supporting the cleft program at the Hospital
das Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA) for an additional 50
surgeries for poor children with cleft lip and palate. This program,
directed by Marcus Vinicius Martins Collares, MD, PhD, will allow
more children to receive surgery in Porto Alegre and surrounding
areas and help improve the level of care provided by the multi-disciplinary
team at HCPA.
