The 1st Smile Train Latin American Symposium
on Cleft Lip and Palate
This symposium, held on March 21-23, 2002, in Campinas, Brazil,
brought together over 250 cleft experts from Latin America to discuss
new surgical techniques and treatment for children with cleft lip
and palate. A faculty of both South American and North American
cleft surgeons, anesthesiologists, speech pathologists, orthodontists,
and geneticists led the medical meeting.
