The 2nd International Smile Train Cleft Lip and Palate Symposium
The Smile Train sponsored a second international symposium in Chengdu, China from May 7-9, 2001. There were presentations by specialists from both China and abroad who provided a systematic and comprehensive introduction to standard treatment options for cleft lip and palate. Dr. Jeffrey Marsh, Dr. Judy O'Young, and Dr. Linda D'Antonio from The Smile Train Medical Advisory Board also gave lectures and joined 13 Chinese faculty and seven international faculty in leading the 230 physicians who attended the symposium from all provinces of China.
