Republican Clinical Hospital for Children "E. Cotaga"
Children born with cleft lip and palate in Moldova will have the opportunity to receive free treatment at The Republican Clinical Hospital for Children "E. Cotaga," which is a state owned institution dedicated to the treatment of children. Their Department for Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery is the only institution in the Republic of Moldova where children with cleft lip and palate can be treated. The Smile Train has partnered with "E. Cotaga" under the medical leadership of Ion Lupan, M.D. so that 50 additional indigent children would be treated for cleft lip and palate by the hospital's cleft team.
