Hospital of Plastic Surgery
The Hospital of Plastic Surgery (HPS) in Polanica Zdroj is The Smile Train's first affiliate in Poland. HPS received a Treatment Grant in 2002. HPS is Poland's oldest center for plastic and reconstructive surgery, and has helped over 5,000 cleft patients since its inception in 1951. Kazimierz Kobus, M.D., Professor of Plastic Surgery, will use the Treatment Grant to fund even more cleft surgeries for poor children in the region.
