Cleft Palate Speech Working Group
The Smile Train has issued an Education and Training Grant to support the Cleft Palate Speech Working Group, a conference to be held January 18-20, 2002 in St. Louis, Missouri. The group, led by David P. Kuehn, Ph.D., and Linda L. D'Antonio, Ph.D., will join sixteen Speech Pathologists from the U.S. and around the world. Their purpose is to prepare and disseminate educational and training materials in the prevention and treatment of speech disorders for professionals who work with individuals born with cleft palate in developing countries.
