Forward Face
An Education and Training Grant went to Forward Face, whose primary goal is to help patients and their families find immediate support and successfully cope with a craniofacial disorder. The extensive services Forward Face provides include networking, educational materials, quarterly newsletters, and financial aid. The group believes that the pervasive effects and overwhelming demands a craniofacial condition has require comprehensive support for the person with the disorder and their family. Ongoing awareness programs and school presentations are integral elements in a campaign to educate members and the public in the quest for understanding and acceptance.
