Soglom Avlod Uchun
The Smile Train has awarded its first Treatment Grant in the Republic of Uzbekistan to Soglom Avlod Uchun (SAU), a non-governmental charity foundation located in Tashkent City. The primary goal of SAU, led by Chairwoman O. Musurmonova, is to secure the health of future generations. One of the many ways it plays out this role is by paying close attention to and repairing the abundance of clefts amongst poor children there. Through this grant, SAU plans to extend the help it provides to local poor children with clefts in Uzbekistan.
