Yemen Smile International Cleft Charity
There is a shortage of qualified medical professionals and accessible hospitals in Yemen causing many underprivileged children with cleft lip and palate to live with a cleft for the rest of their lives. Government hospitals are trying to change this by offering quality care to poor children for free or at a discounted price. With the help of a Smile Train Treatment Grant, 10 indigent children will be able to receive free cleft treatment. Dr. Bona S. Lotha will oversee this project.
